Whether you need to ship a car, motorcycle, travel trailer, motorhome, boat or multiple vehicles to the UK, we have years of experience in co-ordinating and managing the entire import process, from booking the container, managing the shipping and transport of your car from departure to arrival at the port and transporting it to our workshop in Reading.

All necessary Customs and Import Duty documentation will be submitted to the overseas authority and HMRC on your behalf. We can also undertake vehicle modifications and vehicle registration as well as other services such as IVA/SVA Conversions and VCA Certification. Once we have all the details we will let you know what documentation and certification is required and will then confirm all costs to your before you make the booking.

There are two ways to ship a car; via a containerised service or roll-on roll-off.

Container Service Car Shipping

You can ship cars via a container either consolidated or individually. Consolidated shipping utilises a 40ft container and your car, or other vehicle, will share the container space with others bound for the UK. This not only reduces the ocean transport costs, but also the destination and unloading fees as well.

Alternatively, we can ship your car, or other vehicle, inside its own 20ft container. This does come at a higher cost, but arrival and departure times will be reduced, so if you have time constraints, then this could be a preferred option for you.

Roll on, Roll Off Car Shipping

All cars must be in full running and driving condition to use this method as the Stevedore’s drive the vehicle into the hull of the shipping vessel.

RORO car shipping is generally cheaper depending upon departure locations and the UK arrival port. It is important to note that you cannot ship personal effects using this method, but spare tyre and factory fitted accessories are allowed.

Car Transport

Car transport to the export dock or warehouse is available in most countries and our competitive quote will be provided along with shipping costs. Car transport within the UK is also available to either our workshop or your designated delivery address.
